Winterplace Ski Resort is all about family fun for all ages. SkiWee & Snow Explorers learn the basics in a private learning area adjacent to the main resort center. This specialized instructional program provides the best learning environment for the children to learn to ski or snowboard. SkiWee & Snow Explorers uses a group format dividing children by age and ability. This 1/2 day program will provide your child with the basics for a lifetime of memories and FUN! $130
SkiWee & Snow Explorers Program is a really big, fun time for the youngest skiers and riders in the family, ages 5 through 12. All Day Lift Ticket, Equipment, Helmet, Supervision, Instruction, and LOTS OF FUN are all included!

Group sizes range from 4-8 children per instructor. The program is appropriate for children ages 5-12 years of age. SkiWee & Snow Explorers emphasizes having fun while learning. We want your child/children to love the sport!
Reservations are required at least 36 hours in advance. If space allows, late reservations will be permitted. To make a reservation simply click on the link below.
Parents - SkiWee & Snow Explorers is easy as 1, 2, SKI!
- Upon arrival - check-in at the Skiwee & Snow Explorers Building (the candy cane building).
- You will then leave your child/children for FUN on the snow!
- Then off you go-skiing!
SkiWee & Snow Explorer Kids - easy as 1, 2, SKI!
- Come rested and fed! Breakfast is very important.
- Bring stuff to wear to stay warm and dry !
- Get ready to slide on the snow and have FUN!
Parents and Children - Helpful Tips - Come prepared to be out on the snow for the majority of the session. Dressing in layers that fit and that are waterproof is important. Protective eyewear is strongly recommended, i.e. sunglasses or goggles along with sunscreen for those sunny days. Please remind your child that it is important to listen to their instructor, be patient and have FUN!

AM Session
9:00am - Arrival / Check-in & Registration
Check-in at the Skiwee & Snow Explorers Building (the candy cane building) check-in by 9 am or your reservation may be subject to cancellation. After check-in, the children will be given helmets and boots.
9:00am - 9:20am - Ticket & Equipment Pick-Up.
Your child will need to be fully dressed at the time of Drop Off, including:
1. Coat zipped with their lift ticket attached
2. Gloves on.
3. Helmet and goggles on and adjusted.
9:30am - 12:00pm - On the Snow
12:00pm - Parents
Pick up AM SkiWee & Snow Explorers at Drop Off Area outside. You may also ask to review progress cards with instructors at this time. Equipment can be turned in to the rental shop if you decide to ski with your child after their session.
PM Session
